Very nice and thought provoking. Please also have a look at this view point:::
Baluchistan is a wrong name given at the time of breakup of One Unit in 1970 to a land which includes now The British Balochistan (primarily Pashtun inhabited of Afghan Area captured by the British in 1896) part of Sindh and part of territory recovered from Sultan of Muscat.

It is a multi-ethnic/multi-racial land. Its present boundaries did not exist before 1970. Baluch themselves are immigrants who came from Western Persia during the onslaught of Chenghez Khan in 13th Century. So are the Kurds. THe settlers came later with the British in 19th Century. But Hazara tribe came from Afghanistan much earlier, in 1823. The sons of soil are Brahuis and Pashtuns.

There are several times more Baloch living in Sindh and Punjab than in Balochistan. There population of Baloch in this wrongly-named province is not more than about 3 million out of a total of 7-8 million. Ethnically, even many Brahuis, Kurds and even some Pashtuns speak Balochi but that does not make them Baloch.

The yearly revenue of Balochistan is about Rs. 4 billion. The federal govt granted Rs.122 billion more during 2011-12. The provincial budget is Rs. 62 billion pay and allownces, Rs. 26 billion is development, the remaining is..... ? No one knows where is the prov.govt going to use it. Oh yes, Rs. 250 million is also given to every MPA for "development" on yearly basis. But, not one MPA speaks against the anti-Pakistan propaganda or the militants.

Federal govt also spends a lot on the province besides the grant, such as road building, Rs.29 billion subsidy on electricity to run the tube wells.

Balochistan's Non-Baloch Areas about 30%, are perfectly peaceful, have always been peaceful.

The Baloch areas are experiencing a roving band of CIA-Paid killers who go around killing, looting and creating mayhem. The prov.govt has abdicated its responsibility to ensure law and order. It even reversed the Police system and reintroduced the Levies System , which is a force provided by the sardars. The crimes done in a sardars' area are mostly by his hunch men, or he gets part of the loot. Levies just look on. I wish the US Congressman had added these minimum facts also, rather than distort the facts.
We need to fight with unity as we did in Swat

It is a very much required exposure of actual situation on ground in Baluchistan. The facts have been very cleverly disguised and distorted by the Nationalists to build a false case against Pakistan. They are being assisted in this effort by Raw, CIA and Afghan intelligence besides training and arming their militants to keep the pot boiling. Unfortunately some Palistanis on hire by our enemies have joined in this effort in the name of Human Rights.
