Comments:
  • Security: The overall security situation shows improvement as compared to the last week . Sindh is the only province which shows increased violence in shape of more deaths due street killings. There has also been increased cases of robbery and snatching in Karachi. In Balochistan FC remains under attack from militants.
  • Governance: The handling of governance issues by government remained a week area. No allocation for Thar coal project and sugar mafia once again cheating the system is likely to have direct impact on citizens of Pakistan.
  • Suggestion: The security situation need a close coordination between law enforcing, intelligence agencies and the inputs provided to decision makers for further controlling and enhancing the improving trends. Situation in Balochistan needs close monitoring and there is a need to dispel the perception being created by interested group by moving closer to common Baloch. It is important to physically and visibly improve governance in institutions to give direct advantage to the citizens.
