Comments:
· Security: The overall security situation shows improvement despite more killed than previous week. The number of killed figure is more of terrorists during operation of security forces. KPK has seen an increased activity by the security forces and large number of casualty show a more generalized operation than Balochistan where the operation was targeted. This may be due to the operational area restrictions in FATA. Situation in Punjab remained normal and Sindh also had few street crime cases resulting in deaths.
· Governance: The governance issues in this week remained unattended by the government. Issues of governance were highlighted by media and different research organizations. WAPDA, political appointments, CDA , PIA and handling of governance in Balochistan were the main areas pointed out in this week.
· Suggestion: All issues converge to one sentence solution , either there is lack of will to handle issue or there is lack of strategy to project government efforts. Appropriate departments need to systemize problem acquiring, handling and rectifying procedures and make them more visible to satisfy the public.
